| Pfizer Corporation of Montreal, asked Sylvia
to conduct a Team Building Art Workshop for their company
on October 17th, 2007, when they would be in Vancouver to
hold a seminar for management and reps, to launch a new product
to fight the HIV virus.
Held at the Metropolitan Hotel, 21 key personnel were taken
along an art adventure to create 3 banners to signify what
this new product would mean. The finished banners were to
be taken back to Montreal to hang in their building.
Sylvia put together 3 teams, to each work on one panel,
and gave each team a specific theme to work on and network
together. The first group had the theme 'Darkness, Disease,
Chaos'. The second team had the theme 'Struggle, Courage',
and the third theme was 'Hope, Survival, Winning'. After
a mini lesson in design, composition and color theory, each
team set to work with colored pencils and markers to come
up with as many designs as they could. From their designs,
they each picked their best and then put them side by side
to see if they would work as an overall design. Then off
to work they went on panels of 6 foot long canvases, and
the room was alive with energy and creativity. Everyone got
to painting and the team work paid off big time.
Below are some scenes of the creative afternoon and the finished
Banners, with the proud production team of the Pfizer Corporation.
